Qatar National Cement Co sees net profit down 14%

Qatar National Cement Co has seen a 6.2 per cent YoY fall in sales to QAR659.62m (US$181.2m) in 2020, against QAR703.03m in the previous year. Net profit also declined 13.8 per cent YoY to QAR148.46m from QAR172.16m in 2019.

QNCC to increase capacity in 2H18

Qatar National Cement Company (QNCC) is expected to increase its production capacity by 5500tpd during 2H18, due to the start-up of a new plant later in the year. Qatar National Cement Company (QNCC) net profit rose to QAR332m (US$91.2m) in the first nine months of 2014, up 3.1 per cent from the QAR322m posted a year earlier.
